FJ001 Beaver Yellow Olive Quart

Minimum Bid: $1000

Range:$1500-2000

Sold: $3550

An exceptional Beaver Ame quart in a beautiful light yellow olive amber colour. The yellow is the predominant colour but there is a strong bright olive green undertone. Some real nice yellow streaks in the glass. Incredibly, this jar has a matching coloured glass insert. The jar is near mint. On the base edge right side is a tiny potstone chip and there are some really minor scuffs to the outside glass. The mouth is perfectly ground. The glass insert is also near mint, with just a tiny bit of roughness on one edge. A killer jar in a rare and brilliant colour.

FJ002 Beaver Smokey Orange Quart

Minimum Bid: $1000

Range:$1500-2000

Sold: $1400

A gorgeous Beaver Ame quart jar is a most unusual colour. There is a real smokey tone to this one. In low light it looks tobacco coloured. In strong light, you can see a lot of orange streaking in the glass over a rich yellow colour with hints of olive. The insert is a more typical orange amber with no yellow tone. The jar is near mint. Well ground lip. One faint half moon grinding bruise in the lip edge front. You really have to look for this. The insert is also near mint with just a bit of edge roughness. # 14 on base. A great jar in a unique colour.

FJ003 Hamilton No 4 Clamp

Minimum Bid: $1000

Range:$1500-2000

Sold: $1800

This is certainly one of the very best examples of the No 4 Hamilton clamp jar. The colour is a deep rich vibrant aqua. The glass is quite thick and heavy, which accounts for the pleasing tone. Near mint. The lip has the tiniest 1/8" flaw which is likely a straw line from manufacturing. The lip on this jar is incredible good. The overall glass character is brilliant and clean. The glass insert is a plain pale aqua colour. It is also near mint with just a bit of light flaking on the edge. A tremendous example of this rare No 4 size jar.
