GB080 Empire Brewing Threesome MB-09 MB-08 MB-11

Minimum Bid: $75

Range:$100-150

Current Bid: Clayton

This lot contains three Empire Brewing ginger beers from Brandon, Manitoba. The Large Sheild variant (MB-09) has a dark somewhat blurred transfer. Note the "BRANDON" at the bottom of the transfer. An unlisted variant. Heavy crack down the right side. The small sheild variant (MB-08) with lighter transfer has a 1/4" lip flake at left. Potstone rear. 1/2" base edge flake visible at left. Several smaller separation, including one 1/2" crescent shaped crack. Damage describes worse than it is really. The MB-11 is a good example with a flea bite out of the lip. 1/2" unglazed spot where the cream meets the brown left of the transfer. Deep in-manufacturing flaw on base edge front left. Weak transfer. Note the glaze character in the shoulder of this one; it almost looks like a pattern of blades of grass. Most unusual.
