GB048 Bourke - Brockville ON-22

A fabulous near mint example of a M. Bourke Brockville. A couple of tiny flakes off the very edge of the blob top. One of the cleanest examples I have seen of this scarce bottle. If you want one of these for your collection, this is the one to buy.

This auction I am pleased to offer two variants of the J.T. Walsh ginger beers from Barrie Ontario. Two scarce examples of Brantford Stoneware Co made small quarts. This two tone variety is excellent. Near mint with a 1/4" unseparated chip in the blob front (real minor stuff). Original but unmarked stopper.

This C.H. Norton is one of my favourite Ontario ginger beers. I love the simple but striking star trademark. A scarce bottle that is very hard to find in good condition. This one is mint. Perfect in every way. Strongly marked and matching stopper. Better than yours!

This variant of the Thomas Robertson St. Catharines is very hard to find in good condition. Most are damaged and/or restored. This example is one of the best I have seen. Potstone based edge front. A pair of J. Laurie bottles from Perth. The left one is a beautiful mint example with the fancier font and lighter transfer. Munderloh transferred mark. The lightning stopper John Thompson Hamilton is a good clean bottle with a 1/2" flat flake of the back of the lip. Marked and matching stopper. The G. Kickley (Guelph) is a very good example. 4" light scrape across the transfer and a very light 4" glaze crack at the rear. Despite the damage, this one displays very well.

GB070 Ontario Group Lot

A lot of six common Ontario ginger beers. A pair of A.E. Burke Brantford. One has a heavy 1/2" flake from the top. The other has a heavy crack that circles the top. The Wentworth Hamilton is near mint with Munderloh mark. The Charles Horsman Campbellford quart is excellent with some minor body stain. The pair of Port Perry Bottling Works bottles are mint. A good lot for a collector just starting out or for dealer stock.
