GB037 McInlay - Sydney NS-88

The McInlay & Co Sydney Mineral Water Works is one of the Martimes' rarest and most iconic ginger beers with its anchor and chain trademark. This example is excellent. Very faint 3" tight clean hairline at rear of body and a 1/4" hairline on the inside edge of the lip. Minor stuff on a very rare bottle. Original faintly marked stopper. One of Canada's best!

GB038 Daley - St. John NB-43

A beautiful example of one of New Brunswick's best transfers. This blob type Daley is considerably harder to find than its collar top cousin. This example appears mint, but there is a perfectly clean tight 4" hairline on the shoulder at the rear and some dark rubs on the right side. Let the pictures be your guide. This is a beautiful example.

GB040 Roue - Halifax NS-55

An excellent example of the scarce Brantford Potteries made Roue bottle with trademark stamp. 1/2" base flake at rear that just peeks over the side. 1/2" minor unseparated chip based edge front that is visible. Two 1/4" fine hairlines in the lip, one front, one back. Condition is very good for one of these bottle with less than the usual glaze crazing.

GB045 Bigelow Pair - Halifax NS-21, NS-22

Pair of Bigelow & Co Halifax. The pint has no potter's mark. Some heavy flaking to the collar lip both front left and at rear. Still a great example with a heavy slightly blurred transfer. Unmarked stopper. The quart is a Munderloh type. 1/4" left stopper hole flake and another 1/4" chip out of the collar top on left. Bit of cleanable rust.

Three variants of the Old Homestead ginger beers from St. Stephen NB. The quart is a beautiful example. Basically mint with a well marked and matching stopper. The pint lightning stopper is excellent with only minor imperfections and a bit of glaze stain. The crown style pint is perfect.

GB057 Maritime Six

This lot has six bottles. There are three Whelan & Ferguson ginger beers from Halifax. The two tone blob has a 4" hairline in the face and a second heavy scrape to the upper right of the transfer. The solid cream has a large chunk off the base missing and some rust staining. The lightning stopper type has a bit of stopper hole flaking on the left side, 1/2" deep separation mark on the base edge rear and some rubs from burial. The Amherst Mineral Water has a long 8" hairline at the rear. Marked and matching stopper. The paler stamped Quinn is a Munderloh marked bottle. Badly cracked. The other Quinn is a W.S. & Co. 1/2" crack to the body and some stain.

GB058 Donovan Threesome Halifax

This lot contains three different Donovan variants. The Donovan with the lightning stopper intact and the blurry transfer is a W.S. & Co style. Heavy stain but no damage. Marked and matching stopper. The other lightning stopper without the closure is also W.S. & Co marked but the stamp is a larger font and the transfer is clear. Heavy stain and some hairline cracking. The squatty sharp shoulder variant has a 4" crack rear and glaze staining.
