GB001 Gurds Maritime Display Bottle

Minimum Bid: $1500

Range:$2000-3000

Sold: $2600

We sold this Gurds maritime division display bottle last fall. The purchaser had always wanted one of these rare bottles. He has since decided to sell his collections, including this wonderful piece. This is a mammouth size bottle - standing just under 31" tall and weighing 30 pounds! These remarkable bottles were made by the Medalta Potteries. I would suggest these are some of the most fabulously unique items to have come from Medalta. They could not have made many. These bottles are extremely rare. The condition of this one is excellent. There is a 1" base edge chip at the rear. Otherwise this piece is perfect.
